TAU INTERNAL

Internal Breakfast Sessions

The need for formalised internal learning sessions within TAU was identified at the review of TAU’s achievements at the end of 2009. Monthly 90-minute Breakfast Sessions was identified as a suitable way of facilitating within-team learning. The purpose of these sessions is to share information on TAU projects and lessons learnt, to enable TAU team members to be aware of the work of colleagues and to learn from TAU projects to improve the internal practices of TAU.

Introduction of the TAU Methodology Toolkit

TAU has developed a Methodology Toolkit to ensure a consistent and professional approach in its consulting services to government. The toolkit consists of various methodologies that can be used as and when required by TAU Technical advisors. To ensure that the Toolkit is thoroughly institutionalised, the KM unit in TAU will be facilitating a series of Conversations on Methodologies and Peer Reviews during 2010 in relation to the various tools in the
TAU Methodology Toolkit.

The first of these conversations took place on the
4th of March 2010. The
Gender Mainstreaming toolkit was presented in April 2010.
